Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) is an electric locomotive manufacturing production unit of Indian Railways under the Ministry of Railways, established in 1950. CLW conducts its own recruitment for Act Apprentices in ITI trades, and separately for sports and cultural quota posts, applications for which go to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer; regular gazetted and non-gazetted posts are filled through RRB/RRC.

CLW recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a specific quota (for example sports, compassionate appointment, or ex-servicemen). Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group apprentice/C.
