The Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, functioning under the Ministry of Cooperation, is the statutory authority responsible for registering and regulating Multi-State Cooperative Societies under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002, as provided for under Article 243ZH of the Constitution. It periodically fills a small number of officer-level posts in its own office on deputation, including Short-Term Contract basis, with circulars and vacancy notices published on its own website.
