02How it recruits

The Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society runs a network of GMERS medical colleges and hospitals across the state. It recruits faculty (Professor to Demonstrator), Senior/Junior Residents, Medical Officers, nursing and technical staff directly for each of its constituent colleges, with vacancies published on its own website and, for some contractual posts, via the state's Arogya Sathi portal.

GMERS recruits mainly through a written examination followed by an interview, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B/C.
