The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), headquartered at Hamirpur, is the state's current recruiting body for Class-III (and some contractual) posts across departments including Education, Revenue, Health and Technical Education, including Junior Basic Teacher and other teaching-cadre posts filled through written/skill tests. HPRCA was constituted on 30 September 2023, replacing the former Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission (HPSSC/HPSSSB), which was dissolved in February 2023 after a paper-leak scandal.

HPRCA recruits mainly through a written competitive examination. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group C.
