IVRI is ICAR's premier institute for veterinary and animal-science research (animal health, food safety, public health), a Deemed-to-be-University with campuses at Bareilly (Izatnagar), Bengaluru (Hebbal) and Mukteswar. Scientist-cadre entry is through ICAR's central ASRB NET/ARS exam; IVRI itself directly recruits Technical Assistants, Field Workers and various project/contractual posts, with vacancies on its own website.
