The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is the civic body for Hyderabad, formed in 2007 by merging the earlier Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad with surrounding municipalities. It recruits, mostly on a contractual and as-needed basis, for sanitation, engineering, health-surveillance and clerical posts through notices on its own website. GHMC is headquartered on Tank Bund Road, Hyderabad.
