02How it recruits

In plain words

NIC, under MeitY, is the government's central IT and e-governance services provider, running networks and applications for ministries, states and districts across India. Its Scientist B entry-level recruitment is conducted on its behalf by NIELIT through a written test and interview, with notifications published on NIC's own recruitment portal.

NIC recruits mainly through a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A.
