02How it recruits

The One Stop Centre (Sakhi) scheme, run under the central Mission Shakti umbrella by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, provides integrated support to women affected by violence. Each district-level centre is staffed by the respective state WCD department (see state entries such as Punjab, Delhi, Odisha, Karnataka for their own OSC recruitment notices) for Case Worker, Lawyer, Counsellor and support-staff posts.

OSC / Sakhi recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group contractual.
