The Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, created in 2002 after the dismantling of the Administered Pricing Mechanism, providing analytical support, data and policy inputs for the petroleum and natural gas sector.
