Prasar Bharati is India's public broadcaster, comprising Doordarshan (television) and All India Radio, recruiting directly and on contract for programme, engineering and news posts through its own vacancies page. Individual Doordarshan Kendras (regional TV centres) and AIR stations are field units under Prasar Bharati and are not separate recruiting bodies.
