02How it recruits

In plain words

The Reserve Bank of India is the country's central bank, recruiting Grade B Officers (including specialist Economic Policy and Statistics streams), Assistants and Office Attendants through its own examinations, run separately from the IBPS process used by commercial banks. Recruitment notices, call letters and results are published on the RBI's dedicated careers portal, and the bank warns candidates against fraudulent job offers referencing similar-sounding domains.

RBI recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/C.
