Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services (TNFRS), with the motto "We Serve To Save" and around 7,347 personnel across 331 stations, is currently the second-largest fire service in India after Uttar Pradesh, providing firefighting and disaster-relief operations across the state. Direct recruitment to Fireman and allied posts is carried out by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB), already listed in this directory under State Boards → State Police Recruitment Board.
