Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-Metro), a Joint Venture Company with equal participation from the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra, has invited applications under Advertisement No. MAHA-Metro/N/HR/05/2026 dated 10 August 2026 for 56 posts on a three-year contract basis, for its Nagpur Metro Rail Project (40 posts) and Pune Metro Rail Project (16 posts). Posts include Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical, Rolling Stock, S&T), Senior Office Assistant (PR/Library), Office Assistant, Technician (Civil, Electrical, Rolling Stock/Diesel Mechanic, S&T/Electronic Mechanic), Multi Tasking Staff cum Motor Driver, and Attendant. Applicants must be experienced persons of Indian nationality from Metro Rail/Railway/Railway PSUs/Government organisations/PSUs/Metro-related infrastructure industries, and must be residents of Maharashtra holding a valid domicile certificate. Minimum qualifications range from SSC/HSC pass for Attendant and MTS-cum-Motor Driver posts, through ITI (NCVT/SCVT) trade certificates for Technicians, to a graduate degree for Office Assistants and a B.E./B.Tech or three-year engineering diploma for Junior Engineers, each with specified post-qualification experience (typically 3-5 years) and minimum pay-scale/CTC thresholds depending on whether the candidate comes from an IDA, CDA, or private metro-infrastructure background. Maximum age as on the closing date is 40 years for Junior Engineer and Technician posts and 45 years for Office Assistant, Senior Office Assistant, MTS-cum-Motor Driver and Attendant posts, with relaxation for reserved categories as per Government norms. Selection comprises a written test (70 marks, covering general aptitude and domain knowledge), an interview (30 marks; an oral aptitude test in place of interview for MTS/Attendants), followed by pre-medical examination and issue of call letters to medically fit candidates. Selected candidates must execute a service/surety bond to serve MAHA-Metro for a minimum of three years and can be posted at any MAHA-Metro project location.
