• PayMonthly stipend: Graduate Apprentices - Rs. 15,000/- (AAI share Rs. 8,850/- plus Rs. 6,150/- Government share through DBT). Diploma (Technical) Apprentices - Rs. 12,000/- (AAI share Rs. 6,550/- plus Rs. 5,450/- Government share through DBT). Trade (ITI) Apprentices - Rs. 9,600/- per month.

Candidates must be Indian nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh or Uttarakhand, and must have passed their degree/diploma in 2024 or after. Graduate and Diploma candidates must register and apply through the NATS 2.0 portal (https://nats.education.gov.in), which requires e-KYC verification via Aadhaar and retrieval of academic documents through DigiLocker/APAAR; ITI Trade candidates must apply through the NAPS portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org). The last date for receipt of application is 16.09.2026. Provisional selection is based on percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (CGPA converted to percentage per the concerned Board/University norms), with final selection after interview/document verification and submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining. Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters (Northern Region), has invited applications under Advertisement No. 01/2026/APPRENTICE/GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/ITI/NR for the engagement of 205 (tentative) Graduate, Diploma and ITI Trade Apprentices for one year of Apprenticeship Training during 2026-27 at various airports and offices across its Northern Region. The intake comprises 80 Graduate Apprentice seats and 65 Diploma Apprentice seats across Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science/IT, Aeronautical/Aerospace/Aircraft Maintenance, Architecture, Mechanical/Automobile and BCA/B.Com streams, plus 60 Trade (ITI) Apprentice seats in COPA/Steno and Computer Hardware & Networking. Only Indian nationals domiciled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh or Uttarakhand, who passed their qualifying degree/diploma/ITI course in 2024 or later, are eligible, subject to a minimum age of 18 and maximum age of 26 years as on the last date of application, 16 September 2026 (with age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government norms). Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship, or have one year or more of work/apprenticeship experience after their qualification, are not eligible. Graduate and Diploma applicants must register through the NATS 2.0 portal, involving Aadhaar-based e-KYC and DigiLocker/APAAR document verification; ITI Trade applicants must apply through the NAPS portal. No application fee is charged. Provisional selection is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, with final selection after interview, document verification and a medical fitness certificate submitted at the time of joining; the allotted airport/station is final and no change is entertained later. Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 (Graduate), Rs. 12,000 (Diploma) or Rs. 9,600 (Trade/ITI), part-funded by AAI and part through Government DBT (for Graduate and Diploma apprentices). The notification states plainly that AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentices and that they have no right to claim regular employment on the basis of this training.
