Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna company under the Ministry of Defence, has issued Advertisement No. 383/HR/DE-FTE/NS-S&CS/2026-27 for recruitment to 14 posts of Deputy Engineer/E-II on a Fixed Tenure Basis in its Naval Systems (S&CS) Strategic Business Unit, with the selected candidates to be posted at Kochi. The posts are spread across three disciplines — Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science — and are reserved category-wise as UR 7, EWS 1, OBC(NCL) 3, SC 2 and ST 1. Eligible candidates must hold a full-time BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering from an AICTE-approved institute or recognised university, with first class for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) candidates and a pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1 September 2026, with the standard government relaxations for reserved categories, PwBD candidates and Ex-Servicemen. Selection is through a written test of 85 marks for shortlisted candidates, followed by an interview for those who qualify, in a shortlisting ratio of 1:5 category-wise; the venue for the written test/interview will be communicated later. Candidates whose degree discipline does not match the prescribed subjects will not be considered.
