Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for engagement of two Senior Consultants, on a full-time contractual basis, in its Finance and Account Division at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi - one for Audit and one for Accounts work. The eligibility requirement is a graduate degree, preferably in Commerce, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; preference will be given to retired government officers with experience in Audit and Accounts in a Central or State Government department, a Central or State university, or a PSU. The consolidated monthly remuneration ranges from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000, to be decided by the Selection Committee as per IGNOU norms. The engagement is initially for six months and may be extended based on performance, subject to a maximum period of two years or until the incumbent turns 70, whichever comes first; the University may discontinue the engagement at any time without assigning a reason, and no TA/DA is payable for the interview. The original closing date of 28 August 2026 has been extended to 25 September 2026.
