Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL), a Miniratna-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has invited online applications for 122 Non-Executive posts (Advertisement No. 03/Rectt./2026) for its Corporate Office at Nagpur and project sites and offices across India. The 16 categories of posts, spread across grades W-3 to W-7, include Accountant, Technician (Survey, Sampling, Laboratory, Drilling), Assistant (Materials, Accounts, Hindi, IT, HR), Stenographer (English), Electrician, Machinist, Mechanic, Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling) and Junior Driver, with vacancies made up of a mix of fresh and backlog reserved vacancies for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD/Ex-Servicemen categories. Educational qualifications vary by post, ranging from 10th pass with a valid driving licence for Junior Driver, ITI/Diploma in trades such as Survey, Drilling, Electrical or Mechanical for the technical posts, to a graduate degree or equivalent (B.Com, BCA, Intermediate CA/ICWA, etc.) for Accountant, Assistant and Stenographer posts. The maximum age limit for UR/EWS candidates is 30 years as on the cut-off date of 01.09.2026, with standard age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwD and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Pay scales range from Rs. 19,600-47,900 (W-3) to Rs. 22,900-55,900 (W-7) under the IDA pattern, along with HRA, perks, PF, medical insurance, NPS and other benefits. An application fee of Rs. 500 applies to General/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, with fee exemption for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates. Selection will be through a written test conducted at Nagpur, followed by document verification and a skill/trade test (qualifying in nature) for the relevant posts, with the final merit list based on written test marks.
