Explanation
Circumference of the girth = 440 cm. $$\therefore 2 \pi R=440 \Rightarrow R=\left(440 \times \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{7}{22}\right)=70 \mathrm{cm} .$$ So, Outer radius $=70 \mathrm{cm}$. Inner radius $=(70-4) \mathrm{cm}=66 \mathrm{cm}$. Volume of iron $=\pi\left[(70)^{2}-(66)^{2}\right] \times 63$ $$=\left(\frac{22}{7} \times 136 \times 4 \times 63\right) \mathrm{cm}^{3}=58752 \mathrm{cm}^{3} .$$
