The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is a statutory body established in 2003 under the Competition Act 2002 to enforce competition law and prevent practices with an adverse effect on competition in India. It recruits Directors, Deputy/Assistant Directors and administrative staff, mostly on deputation or direct application, preferring candidates with a background in law, economics or commerce. Vacancies are notified on its own website.

CCI recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
