02How it recruits
In plain words
SSPL is a DRDO laboratory in Delhi engaged in research on semiconductor devices, microwave components and materials for defence electronics. Its Scientist posts are filled through the DRDO-wide RAC process, with the lab separately hiring Junior Research Fellows and project staff on its own project vacancies advertised through the main DRDO website.
SSPL recruits mainly through a candidate's score in a national test such as GATE or NET, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/contractual.
