Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRC) is a 50:50 special purpose vehicle of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat that builds and operates the Ahmedabad Metro (and the upcoming Surat Metro). GMRC recruits Station Controller/Train Operators, Junior Engineers, Maintainers and management posts such as Deputy General Manager as vacancies arise, generally through an online computer-based test conducted at designated centres.

GMRC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/C.
