The Transport Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh enforces the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 and the MP Motor Vehicles Taxation Act 1924, headed by a Transport Commissioner assisted by Deputy Transport Commissioners for Enforcement, Administration and Finance, and offers online services for driving licences, permits, fitness/NOC and tax payment.
