ONGC is India's largest crude oil and natural gas producer, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. It recruits Graduate Trainees in engineering and geoscience disciplines mainly through their GATE score followed by group discussion/interview, and fills non-executive technician and assistant posts through its own written examinations conducted periodically. Apprentices are engaged under the NATS/NAPS scheme at its work centres across India.
