The Prayagraj Mela Authority is a permanent statutory body of the Uttar Pradesh government, chaired by the Commissioner of Prayagraj Division, that plans and organises the Kumbh/Magh Mela at Prayagraj. It periodically recruits Kumbh Young Professionals and other contractual support staff around Mela events, notified through the Prayagraj district administration's website.
