02How it recruits
In plain words
The Supreme Court of India, the apex court and the highest constitutional authority, recruits its own registry and support staff directly — including Junior Court Assistants, Court Masters, Junior Translators and the Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant scheme for law graduates who assist judges — through notifications published on its own website, separate from the judges’ own appointment process.
SCI recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or direct recruitment, without a competitive exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group C/D.
