VSSC is ISRO's lead centre for launch vehicle technology, responsible for designing and developing India's satellite launch vehicles including the PSLV and GSLV. Located in Thiruvananthapuram, it recruits Scientist/Engineer 'SC' posts in aerospace, mechanical, electronics and computer science disciplines through the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board process, and separately runs its own drives for Technician and Graduate/Technician Apprentice posts under the NATS/NAPS apprenticeship scheme.
