The Maharashtra State Board of Waqf manages and protects Muslim endowment (waqf) properties across the state under the Waqf Act, 1995. It recruits its own administrative, legal and technical staff (District Wakf Officer, Junior Clerk, Stenographer, Junior Engineer, Legal Officer/Assistant) directly, largely through offline applications to its Aurangabad head office.
