Apply online at the High Court of Punjab and Haryana's recruitment portal from 28-08-2026. Qualification is knowledge of Hindi and the regional language; candidates are selected by interview (50 marks) followed by a qualifying Physical Endurance Test (800m race, long jump, high jump).

The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has invited online applications for 31 posts of Frash on its establishment, under Employment Notice No. 05/Frash/HC/2026 dated 28 August 2026. Of the 31 posts, 26 are in the General category, 3 are reserved for SC/ST/BC candidates and 2 for Ex-Servicemen; the number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on the merit list eventually prepared. Online applications opened on 28 August 2026 and close on 18 September 2026 at 11:59 PM. The stated qualification is knowledge of Hindi and the regional language; only a Matriculation certificate or, for candidates below matric, a birth certificate from the Registrar of Births and Deaths is accepted as proof of date of birth. Age must be between 18 and 35 years as on the last date of application, with the upper age limit relaxed for Ex-Servicemen by their years of defence service plus 3 years. The application fee is Rs 700 for General category candidates and SC/ST/BC candidates domiciled outside Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh, and Rs 600 for SC/ST/BC candidates domiciled in Punjab, Haryana or UT Chandigarh and for Ex-Servicemen; there is no fee for dependents of Ex-Servicemen who were disabled or died during active operations, on producing the required proof. The fee is payable online, is non-refundable, and online transaction charges are extra. Reservation and fee relaxation for SC/ST/BC candidates apply only to those domiciled in Punjab, Haryana or UT Chandigarh; candidates from elsewhere are treated as General category. Selection is by interview carrying 50 marks (25 for suitability to the job, 25 for etiquette and manners); candidates equal to four times the advertised vacancies per category, in order of interview merit, are then called for a qualifying-only Physical Endurance Test consisting of an 800-metre race, long jump and high jump, with different qualifying parameters by age band and gender. A candidate who fails any one event is disqualified from the remaining events. The final merit list is drawn from those who clear the Physical Endurance Test, strictly on interview merit. Pay and allowances will be governed by the rules applicable to High Court of Punjab and Haryana employees.
