The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited online applications for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks (CRP RRBs XV), covering Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager), Officer Scale II (Manager - General Banking and Specialist categories), Officer Scale III (Senior Manager), and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts across 28 participating Regional Rural Banks spanning most Indian states and union territories. Online registration and fee payment run from 1 September 2026 to 21 September 2026. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university for all posts; Officer Scale II posts additionally require relevant post-qualification experience (for example, two years as a bank officer for General Banking, or professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountancy or a law degree with relevant experience for specialist posts), and candidates for Officer and Office Assistant posts must show proficiency in the local language prescribed by the RRB concerned. As on 1 September 2026, age limits are 18-28 years for Office Assistant, 18-30 years for Officer Scale I, 21-32 years for Officer Scale II, and 21-40 years for Officer Scale III, with standard government relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen categories. The application fee is Rs 175 (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates and Rs 850 (inclusive of GST) for all others, payable separately for each post applied for. Selection for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I is a two-tier online examination (Preliminary and Main); Officer Scale II and III candidates sit a single online examination. Officer posts additionally require a common interview coordinated by the Nodal RRBs with NABARD and IBPS. The Preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled for November/December 2026.
