Eligible candidates must fill up the application form online, available at www.csir.res.in. Incomplete applications or applications received through any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates must upload scanned copies of certificates establishing educational qualification (matriculation onwards), age, reservation/statutory category (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS, if applicable), experience certificate, publications/patents (if any) and a detailed biodata, failing which the candidature will be summarily rejected. Candidates must fulfil the essential criteria as on 23 September 2026. Candidates must be present in person at CSIR-TKDL Unit, 14 Satsang Vihar Marg, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi - 110067, for a written test/interview at the specified reporting date and time for each post code (24 September 2026 for TKM01/TKM02, 25 September 2026 for TKA01/TKA02, both 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM), carrying two self-attested photographs, original certificates/testimonials, self-attested photocopies of certificates and a typed biodata on A4 paper. There is no separate call letter; candidates must wait for results/instructions on the spot unless informed otherwise.

The CSIR-Traditional Knowledge Digital Library (CSIR-TKDL) Unit, a constituent of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, has invited applications (Advertisement No. TKDL/06/2026) for engagement as project personnel under two ongoing projects: "Digitization of Indian Traditional Practices on Minerals, Metals, Materials and Allied Areas" (HCP522403) and "Digitization of Traditional Agricultural Practices of India" (HCP522401). Four post codes are on offer: Senior Project Associate (SPA) Sanskrit (1 post; Master's/Integrated Master's in Sanskrit with 3 years' relevant R&D experience, or a Doctoral degree in Sanskrit with 2 years' experience); Project Associate-I Metallurgy (2 posts; B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy/Metallurgical Engineering or a Master's degree in Chemistry); Project Associate-I Agriculture (1 post; Master's/Integrated Master's in Agriculture/Agronomy/Horticulture/Animal Science/Veterinary Sciences/Zoology); and Project Associate-I Patent (1 post; B.E./B.Tech/Master's/Integrated Master's in Natural Sciences, with desirable proficiency in Patent Analytics/Informatics or a PG Diploma in IPR). The engagement is purely temporary, time-bound and on contract basis, up to 31 March 2027 or co-terminus with the project. SPA carries a monthly emolument of Rs. 42,000 plus HRA, with an age limit of 40 years. PAT-I posts carry Rs. 31,000 plus HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET, GATE or equivalent national-level exams, or Rs. 25,000 plus HRA for other candidates, with an age limit of 35 years. There is no application fee. Applications must be submitted online at www.csir.res.in by 23 September 2026, and candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria as on that date. Candidates must then appear in person for a written test/interview at the CSIR-TKDL Unit, 14 Satsang Vihar Marg, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi, on 24-25 September 2026, carrying original certificates, photographs and a typed biodata; no separate call letter will be issued.
