Candidates for Trade Apprenticeship (NAPS) must also register on https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in, and candidates for Technician/Graduate Apprenticeship must register as a student on https://nats.education.gov.in. After filling the online form, candidates must save/submit and print the generated application (not to be sent to RCF); it must be produced at the document verification stage. Online registration opens 04.09.2026 at 08:00 AM and closes 20.09.2026 at 05:00 PM.

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCF Ltd.), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Fertilizers, has invited online applications for the engagement of a total of 326 apprentices - Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and Trade Apprentice - under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for training at its Trombay (Mumbai) and Thal (Raigad district) units in Maharashtra. Of the 326 posts, 145 are Graduate Apprentice posts (Accounts Executive, Secretarial Assistant, Recruitment Executive/HR), 105 are Technician Apprentice posts (Diploma holders in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering) and 76 are Trade Apprentice posts (Attendant Operator, Instrument Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Boiler Attendant, Electrician, Horticulture Assistant and Medical Laboratory Technician). Educational qualifications range from 12th pass with Science to a relevant diploma or graduate degree (B.Com/BBA/any graduate for Graduate Apprentice posts, B.Sc with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics for some Trade Apprentice posts), each with a minimum of 50% marks (a 5% relaxation applies for SC/ST and PwBD candidates). The upper age limit for all categories is 25 years as on 1 September 2026. Training duration is 12 months for most categories and 24 months for Boiler Attendant and Electrician. Selected apprentices will receive a combined monthly stipend of Rs. 15,900 to Rs. 17,300, part paid by RCF and part by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT). Candidates must apply online only through the RCF website (www.rcfltd.com -> Recruitment -> Engagement of Apprentices 2026-27), and must also register on the national apprenticeship portals - apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for Trade Apprenticeship (NAPS) or nats.education.gov.in for Technician/Graduate Apprenticeship. Online registration is open from 4 September 2026 (8:00 AM) to 20 September 2026 (5:00 PM). The notification explicitly states the engagement carries no obligation on RCF to offer regular employment after completion of the apprenticeship, and apprentices have no claim to regular employment based on this training.
