There is no online application. Eligible candidates willing to attend the walk-in interview must first send their willingness by email to hrdlrde2010@gmail.com by 25 September 2026, with the subject line 'Application for the post of JRF-ECE discipline'. The walk-in interview itself will be held on 08 October 2026 at Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), DRDO Township, C.V. Raman Nagar, Bengaluru - 560093, with reporting time 0830 to 0930 hrs at the LRDE Main Gate Reception; late arrivals will not be permitted. Candidates must bring original certificates/testimonials for verification, a duly filled application in the prescribed format with a recent colour passport-size photo and one self-attested copy, a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar/Passport/PAN/Voter ID) in original and photocopy, and an NOC from the employer if presently employed in a Government Department, Autonomous Body or PSU. Verification of documents starts at 0900 hrs, followed by a written test (if necessary) and interview on the same day.

The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru, a laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence working on Radar and related technologies, has invited applications from young and meritorious Indian citizens for walk-in recruitment to the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) 2026 in the Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) discipline. Two vacancies are notified, though the number of fellowships may vary. Eligible candidates must hold a graduate degree in a professional course (B.E./B.Tech) in first division in a relevant subject with a valid GATE score (2024, 2025 or 2026 scores are acceptable), or a postgraduate degree in a professional course (M.E./M.Tech) in first division at both graduate and postgraduate level, in disciplines such as Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Computer Engineering, or any other relevant discipline where 'Electronics' is the main subject. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 01 September 2026, relaxable for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per Government of India rules. The fellowship carries a stipend of currently Rs. 37,000 per month plus admissible House Rent Allowance, for an initial period of 2 years extendable up to a maximum of 4 years under the DRDO Research Fellow scheme; only Indian Nationals may apply.
