The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Power, established under the Energy Conservation Act 2001, to promote efficient use of and conservation of energy. It recruits Assistant, Deputy and Joint Directors (Technical) largely through a valid GATE score, notified on its own careers page. BEE is headquartered in New Delhi.

BEE recruits mainly through a candidate's score in a national test such as GATE or NET, or direct recruitment, without a competitive exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
