02How it recruits
In plain words
CWC, under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, is India's technical body for water resources development, flood control and river management. Engineer entry is primarily via UPSC's Engineering Services Examination and SSC's Junior Engineer exam, with CWC also recruiting Senior Research Assistant and other posts through its own rules, notified on its own website.
CWC recruits mainly through a candidate's score in a national test such as GATE or NET, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
