The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), established under the Cost and Works Accountants Act 1959, regulates the Cost and Management Accountancy profession under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It moved its headquarters from Kolkata to Lodhi Road, New Delhi in 2025-26, and recruits professional and administrative staff through its own recruitment portal.
