02How it recruits

Jal Jeevan Mission, launched in 2019 by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, aims to provide tap water to every rural household. Hiring for engineering, MIS and monitoring posts happens mostly through state-level JJM cells under each state's Public Health Engineering Department, with notices also carried on the central portal.

JJM recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group contractual.
