The Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), known locally as JEEViKA, is an autonomous body under Bihar's Department of Rural Development that runs the World Bank-aided Bihar Rural Livelihoods Project, recruiting large numbers of contractual staff for social and economic empowerment work with the rural poor.
