02How it recruits

In plain words

Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETIs), an initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development, provide entrepreneurship training to rural youth in nearly every district, and are managed by a bank designated for that district (SBI, Bank of Maharashtra, J&K Bank and others). Recruitment for Director and Faculty posts is therefore carried out by the sponsoring bank in each district, not centrally.

RSETI recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group contractual.
