02How it recruits

The Lok Sabha Secretariat provides secretarial, administrative and research support to the House of the People (Lok Sabha) and its committees. It recruits for its own cadre of posts - including Parliamentary Reporters, Executive Assistants, translators and security/administrative staff - through advertisements published on its own recruitment page as vacancies arise, and separately fills some officer-level posts on deputation from other central government departments. Recruitment is irregular rather than on a fixed annual cycle, and each advertisement carries its own eligibility and exam/interview scheme.
