02How it recruits

The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET), notified in 2018 under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is the overarching regulator setting standards and regulations for the vocational education, training and skilling ecosystem in India. It recruits Executive Members, Consultants and other professional posts through notifications on its own careers page.

NCVET recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/contractual.
