NITI Aayog, the Government of India's policy think tank, runs an unpaid internship scheme for undergraduate/postgraduate students and research scholars to work with its policy verticals, divisions and cells. Applications open online on the 1st of every month and close on the 10th; the internship is unpaid but offers exposure to national policy work in areas such as economics, law and data science.

NITI Internship recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group apprentice.
