ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Indore (Madhya Pradesh) has invited applications under Rolling Advertisement No. 07 of 2026 for teaching faculty and Senior Residents on a contract basis. Posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Senior Resident are open across 24 clinical and pre/para-clinical departments including Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Eye, Psychiatry, Radiology, Anaesthesiology and others. This is a rolling, monthly recruitment cycle: vacancy details are published on the institute website from the 1st to the 7th of each month, applications are received up to the 15th, and a walk-in interview is held on the 18th of every month (or the next working day if that falls on a holiday). For the current cycle, applications must reach ESIC by 4:00 PM on 15 September 2026 and the walk-in interview will be held on 18 September 2026 at 11:00 AM at the institute. Retired or currently working professors may also apply. Candidates must hold MBBS/MD/MS/DNB or equivalent qualifications recognised by the National Medical Commission, appropriate to the post and department applied for. The upper age limit is 69 years for teaching faculty posts and 45 years for Senior Resident, reckoned as on the 15th of the month (with reservation-based relaxation as per government norms). The engagement is initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance, and posts carry consolidated remuneration on the 7th CPC pay matrix (Professor Rs. 1,23,100; Associate Professor Rs. 78,800; Assistant Professor and Senior Resident Rs. 67,700, plus NPA where applicable). An application fee of Rs. 500 applies to general candidates; SC/ST, ESIC regular employees, Defence Ex-servicemen and PwBD candidates are exempted.
