02How it recruits
The Employees' State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body under the Ministry of Labour & Employment that runs a network of hospitals, dispensaries and offices providing medical and social-security benefits to insured workers. It recruits Upper Division Clerks, Stenographers and Multi-Tasking Staff for its administrative offices through its own written-exam cycle, and separately recruits Nursing Officers, paramedical staff, Insurance Medical Officers and Social Security Officers for its hospitals and regional offices. Notifications are published on its own website.
ESIC recruits mainly through a written competitive examination, or a written examination followed by an interview. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group B/C.
