Three marks. Five hundred rupees.

I'm Aniket Bhardwaj. Two numbers decided more about my education than anything I was capable of — and I've spent the eighteen years since making sure they decide less for someone else. Teaching, six ventures, five books, and the tools I build when the tool doesn't exist.

01What I do

Four fields, one instinct.

People usually find me through one of these and are surprised by the rest. Each is the same instinct meeting a different obstacle: notice the gap between how something works and how it should, then close it.

  1. 01

    Teaching & mentorship

Eighteen years, and still the work I'd choose first. Competitive-exam candidates, faculty preparing for teaching posts, and one-to-one mentoring for students who need someone to find the actual problem rather than assign more practice.

    Building companies

Six ventures since 2008, registered with the Ministry of MSME and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. I've started them, run them, and closed one on schedule when it had finished its work — the part I'd point to first.

    Writing & software

Five published books, a chemistry calculator, and a shortcut formula nobody had written down — each built because the version I wanted didn't exist. I've been taking software and hardware apart out of curiosity since I was a child.

    Research

A doctorate in Chemical Science at Magadh University — quantum, nuclear and polymer chemistry, the areas where a strong feel for mathematics matters most. Begun at thirty-two, and precisely the right time.

02How I work

Four rules I don't break.

They hold whether I'm teaching, running a company or writing code — the reason work in unrelated fields still looks like the same person did it.

01

Find the real problem first

The stated problem is rarely the actual one. A student who "can't do the chapter" is usually missing one idea from three chapters earlier. Diagnose before you prescribe.

02

Understand it well enough to rebuild it

I don't rely on a method I can't derive, and I don't teach one either. If I can only repeat something, I don't have it — and the first unfamiliar case will prove that.

03

Build it rather than complain about it

A missing tool is a project, not a grievance. Most of what I've made began as something I needed and couldn't find.

04

Finish what you start

Zero Error Education ran eighteen years and closed in June 2026 — deliberately, on schedule, with everything completed. Beginning is easy. Ending properly is the part almost everyone skips.

03The long one

From student to chairman.

I first walked into Zero Error Education in 2006 as a Class 10 student. I walked back in as a teacher in 2008, and out in 2026 as its chairman — the same organisation, on the same principle, for eighteen years.

  1. 2006

    Student

    Class 10 board-exam preparation, Delhi

Where I first encountered the organisation I would eventually lead — as a fifteen-year-old sitting in its classroom.

  2. 2008 — 2009

    Teacher

    Sixteen, newly settled in Delhi

The first time anyone paid me properly for the thing I'd been doing since I was eight.

  3. 2009 — 2013

    Manager

Alongside B.Sc. (Hons.), Ramjas College, University of Delhi

Operations and batches while completing my degree — study by day, teach by evening.

  4. 2013 — 2019

    Director

Registered under the Ministry of MSME

Built out the faculty side: training teachers, preparing candidates for teaching posts, running the school programmes.

  5. 2019 — 2026

    Chairman

Incorporated under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs

Seven years through incorporation, the shift online, and a planned, orderly close in June 2026.

04Published work

Five books, because the explanation I wanted wasn't on the shelf.

The one people cite

The Square Root Shortcut

A method for estimating the square root of any number in your head — fast enough for a timed exam, accurate to two decimal places. Published, indexed, and now cited in Google's own AI-generated answers when people search for it. It's the piece of my work that other people quote, which is the only kind that really travels.
