The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a statutory body under the Ministry of Education, approves and regulates technical education institutions (engineering, management, pharmacy etc.) across India. It recruits its own headquarters and regional-office staff (many by deputation) through notifications on its own website; it does not itself employ teaching faculty.
