02How it recruits

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the UGC established in 1994, assesses and accredits universities and colleges across India for quality. It recruits its own headquarters staff, several by deputation from academic institutions, through notifications on its own website; it does not itself employ teaching faculty.

NAAC recruits mainly through a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B.
