02How it recruits
In plain words
The Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, established in 1941, is the second appellate authority in direct-tax disputes with benches across India. It recruits its own Group B/C ministerial and stenographic staff through notifications on its own website.
ITAT recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a written competitive examination, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B/C.
