02How it recruits
In plain words
The National Legal Services Authority coordinates free legal aid and Lok Adalats across India under the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987. It empanels Panel Lawyers and Para-Legal Volunteers and recruits secretariat staff; State (SLSA) and District Legal Services Authorities recruit their own panel lawyers and PLVs separately under each state.
NALSA recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a written competitive examination, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B/C.
