02How it recruits

In plain words

The National Human Rights Commission, set up under the Protection of Human Rights Act 1993, inquires into human rights violations. It recruits its own investigation, legal and registry staff, alongside deputation posts, through notifications on its own website. State Human Rights Commissions (SHRCs) recruit separately under each state.

NHRC recruits mainly through direct recruitment, without a competitive exam, or a written competitive examination, or a direct interview, without a separate written exam. Posts recorded here are commonly classified as Group A/B/C.
