02How it recruits
In plain words
The National Security Guard is India's federal contingency counter-terrorism force. It has no direct public recruitment of its own — personnel, including its Special Action Group commandos, are drawn entirely on deputation from the Army, Central Armed Police Forces and state police, for a fixed tenure, through their respective parent organisations rather than an open exam or application.
NSG recruits mainly through a specific quota (for example sports, compassionate appointment, or ex-servicemen).
